The data we process, and why
Website forms
When you request the free website review or book a call, we receive the information you enter: first name, last name, email address, company, phone number if provided, your website address and your answers to the form's questions. We use it solely to prepare your review or your call and to reply to you.
Your contact details are saved as soon as you move on to the next step of the form, then added to at each step. If you stop partway, we may write to you up to three times to invite you to finish your request where you left off. Every message contains a link to stop receiving them, effective immediately.
Your website audit
The audit report we prepare for you is published at a private, unguessable address known only to you and us. It is not indexed by search engines and stays online for three months unless extended. The PDF is sent to you by email after our meeting.
Email exchanges
When you write to us, we keep your messages so we can follow up on our exchange and, where applicable, our collaboration.
Technical data
Like any website, our server records technical connection data (IP address, date, page requested, browser) to keep the service secure and running smoothly. It is not used to identify you and is deleted after [To be completed: period, for example 30 days].
The website sets no analytics or advertising cookies. So that you can resume a form in progress, your browser keeps a small piece of information for the duration of your visit (session storage), which is deleted when you close the tab.
Some pages feature videos hosted by YouTube. When you play one of these videos, YouTube (Google) receives connection information and may set its own cookies, in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Who we share your data with
Your data is never sold, rented or used for marketing by third parties. Only the New Tells Studio team and our host, Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva, which hosts the website, the database and our emails in Switzerland, have access to it. It is not transferred outside Switzerland, except when you play a YouTube video (see above).
How long we keep it
- Requests started but not sent: deleted automatically after six months.
- Requests sent and correspondence: for as long as our exchange and, if we work together, our collaboration require.
- Accounting records (quotes, invoices): ten years, as required by law.
- Audit reports: private address active for three months, content kept for the duration of our collaboration.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, give you a copy of it or stop writing to you. Email us at hello@new-tells.studio: we reply within 30 days.
If you believe your data is not being processed correctly, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern or, if you live in the European Union, the data protection authority in your country.
Security
Access to the website's administration is protected by a password and two-factor authentication. Connections to the website are encrypted (HTTPS). Only the people who need it to reply to you have access to your data.
Changes
We may update this policy, for example if our services change. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page.
