Terms and conditions
General terms and conditions of service
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These terms apply to all services provided by New Tells Studio (audits, websites, modules and applications, motion design, visual identity, storytelling, print and digital media), unless otherwise agreed in writing. By accepting a quote, the client accepts these terms.
Quotes and orders
Our quotes set out the services, schedule and price. They are valid for [To be completed: 30] days. The order becomes binding once the quote is accepted in writing (signature or email) and, where applicable, the deposit has been paid.
Prices and payment
Prices are stated in Swiss francs, [To be completed: excluding VAT / including VAT, depending on VAT registration]. Unless otherwise stated, [To be completed: 40%] of the amount is invoiced on order and the balance on delivery. Invoices are payable within [To be completed: 30] days.
Collaboration and deadlines
The client provides the necessary information, content and access within the agreed deadlines and names a contact person. Any delay in providing these pushes the schedule back accordingly.
Each stage includes [To be completed: two] rounds of revisions. Requests that go beyond the initial quote are priced separately and approved before the work is carried out.
Rights of use
The rights to use the delivered work are transferred to the client for the purpose set out in the quote, upon payment in full. Source files, preparatory material and tools developed by the studio remain its property, unless otherwise agreed. Third-party elements (fonts, photos, music, software) remain subject to their own licences.
Unless the client objects in writing, New Tells Studio may show the completed project among its references (website, presentations, social media).
Hosting and maintenance
When the studio hosts or maintains a website or application, the terms (services, duration, price, termination) are set out in a separate contract or quote.
Liability
The studio undertakes to perform its services with due care. Its liability is limited to direct damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and to a maximum of the amount of the service concerned. The client remains responsible for the content it provides and for its compliance with the law.
Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement in writing. Work carried out up to termination remains payable, as do any costs already incurred.
Confidentiality
Both parties keep confidential any information received in the course of the project. The processing of personal data is described in our privacy policy, available in the footer.
Governing law and place of jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is [To be completed: Fribourg].
