Charly Companion: an app from A to Z
Charly Companion helps cat, dog and rabbit owners keep track of their pet’s health and share that record with their vet. We conceived, designed and built it in the studio. It is our own product, and our testing ground for everything we offer our clients.
What we saw
The heaviest part isn’t the illness. It’s the mental load.
When a pet is ill, the owner has to watch everything, remember everything, then tell the vet everything in a few minutes of consultation. The stress, the isolation, the fear of forgetting a detail: that is what Charly helps carry.
The app is named after Charly, the cat whose illness gave rise to the project. [To be confirmed: tell this story here, or keep it for the “About us” page.]
Our approach
Report facts, never diagnose.
Owners record what they notice day to day. The vet can tell them what to watch for. The app flags when a visit seems worthwhile, and prepares a summary of the days that matter for the vet.
It does not replace the vet: it saves everyone time, and the consultation starts from facts rather than memories.
What we created
A complete product, from idea to screen.

Alerts and summaries
AI that flags when to see the vet and summarises the log for them, without making a diagnosis.
Content and motion
Video tutorials, social media content and a YouTube channel.
Materials for clinics
A tri-fold leaflet and visuals to present Charly in the waiting room.
What this means for you
We know the cost of a poorly designed tool.
Designing and running our own app forces us to measure every step: what users understand, where they drop off, what saves them time.
“When we recommend a module or an app, it’s because we run one ourselves.”
